This inspiring video from Promethean demonstrates just how powerful Learner Response Systems can be when used to their full potential.

A teacher from Marston Vale School shows how he uses Promethean ActivExpression devices to encourage class participation and ensure every pupil in his class is given the opportunity to answer questions. These devices also allow the teacher to immediately see which pupils are struggling in certain areas and he is then able to offer them one-on-one help.

Perfect!  This came out last year, but still makes me smile!

The Four Nations Maths Challenge is free to every school in the UK to take part.  Children from the four nations will unite in their quest to reach the top of the leader board by answering thousand of maths questions.  Registrations open on 31st October 2011 and the event opens for practice on 7th November 2011.  The challenge will end at 12 midnight on Friday 18th November 2011.
