Primary School Digital Leaders programme from Childnet

The Childnet Digital Leaders Programme for primary schools will meet so many needs in the primary school and classroom.  This brilliant initiative will inspire and empower young people to take the lead in championing positive use of technology in their school or community.

This great platform will allow young people to:

  • Become an e-safety expert through training & support
  • Make a difference by delivering activities in their school
  • Connect with other Digital Leaders in primary schools across the UK & with experts
  • Achieve recognition (including badges!) for their achievements

Children complete 7 core training modules to qualify as a Digital Leader.  They will

  • Becoming an expert
  • Work as a team
  • Collaborate
  • Achieve

Schools are now invited to register for the academic year 2016/17 and the platform for primary schools will be open from 31st October.

Sally Tippett

Sally was previously and ICT advisor for Staffordshire LA with responsibility for Emerging Technologies, ICT in Literacy, iPads and liaison with the managed services team. She is a highly experienced educator, having worked across the Key Stages in primary school and as a specialist teacher in an EBD school. Sally has written the Primary Computing Framework and works with many schools implementing the new curriculum and embedding mobile technologies.
