On Friday March 13 at 11.00 BBC Learning is hosting The Voice UK – Make it Digital – LIVE Computer Science lesson!

Have a go at the Clara computer challenge.

This is what some of us in the office managed – I think a couple of us failed to even read the instructions!  How well will you do? Share your results with us!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED!
Here is how to get involved and the important information you need to remember!

  •  When: Friday 13th of March 2015 the live lesson will start 11am and last for 45 minutes.
  •  Where: Broadcast live on March 13th, 11am at bbc.co.uk/livelessons
  •  Head to the site now for Clara’s ‘Human Computer’ drawing activity, which will get students thinking like a computer. The exercise will require a marker pen, paper and the ability to send their work to our email address: LiveAtTheBigBang@bbc.co.uk
  •  Get your students’ pictures in by 10th March for the chance to have their work featured in the lesson.
  •  Viewing Recommendations: We encourage schools to get their students to watch the live webcast together in their school assembly room or any space with Internet and video access.

Sally Tippett

Sally was previously and ICT advisor for Staffordshire LA with responsibility for Emerging Technologies, ICT in Literacy, iPads and liaison with the managed services team. She is a highly experienced educator, having worked across the Key Stages in primary school and as a specialist teacher in an EBD school. Sally has written the Primary Computing Framework and works with many schools implementing the new curriculum and embedding mobile technologies.
